No obstante, esto no quiere decir que se puede empezar sin ning\u00fan tipo de preparaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Quienes no realizaron ninguna disciplina durante su ni\u00f1ez o adolescencia, tendr\u00e1n dificultad y podr\u00e1n en peligro el funcionamiento de todo su cuerpo. Estas personas deben realizarse un chequeo deportol\u00f3gico previo.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA aquellas personas que en la infancia realizaron ejercicio, no les va acostar retomar la actividad f\u00edsica\u201d, dice Leonardo Reyes, m\u00e9dico especialista en medicina del deporte. Esto se debe, explica, a que el coraz\u00f3n tiene memoria. Para este grupo, el especialista deja esta secuencia de entrenamiento:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Preparaci\u00f3n<\/strong>. Antes de empezar esta actividad deportiva, es importante elegir un horario en el que el sol no pegue mucho, para evitar sufrir de insolaci\u00f3n. Adem\u00e1s, el deportista tiene que equiparse con el calzado adecuado para correr y acudir, de preferencia, a pistas atl\u00e9ticas que absorben el impacto en las rodillas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hidrataci\u00f3n<\/strong>. Cuando se realiza actividad f\u00edsica, el cuerpo pierde l\u00edquidos y sales minerales a trav\u00e9s del sudor. Para evitar sufrir de deshidrataci\u00f3n o calambres, tomar suero oral, sales de rehidrataci\u00f3n oral o bebidas isot\u00f3nicas antes, durante y despu\u00e9s del entrenamiento.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Calentamiento<\/strong>. \u201cUno de los errores que cometemos es que pensamos que al correr solo voy a mover mis piernas\u201d, dice el m\u00e9dico. No obstante, en este deporte se involucra todo el cuerpo. Por lo tanto, el calentamiento debe empezar en la cabeza y finalizar en los pies. Hay que mover cada articulaci\u00f3n por 20 segundos y repetir tres veces.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Entrenamiento<\/strong>. Cuando se retoma el ejercicio, hay que empezar de a poco. Reyes recomienda empezar corriendo m\u00e1ximo 25 minutos a intensidad moderada. Las primeras veces, entrenar dos veces por semana. Aumentar paulatinamente la velocidad, el tiempo y los d\u00edas por semana.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Enfriamiento<\/strong>. Este momento es m\u00e1s din\u00e1mico que el calentamiento. Despu\u00e9s de correr, es recomendable caminar durante cinco minutos. El ritmo debe ser bajo, enfocado en la respiraci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Estiramiento<\/strong>. Para evitar desgarres, estirar los m\u00fasculos que m\u00e1s se comprometen al correr: los isquiotibiales, detr\u00e1s del muslo, y los gemelos, detr\u00e1s de la pierna. Para estirar los primeros, sentarse en una superficie dura y tocarse las puntas de los pies con las manos. Para estirar los gemelos, en posici\u00f3n de pie, dar un paso adelante con una de las piernas, mientras se flexiona la otra, y tocarse la punta del pie que est\u00e1 adelante.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Fuente<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Leonardo Reyes, m\u00e9dico especialista en medicina del deporte.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Perspectivas<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Antes de empezar a correr, debes realizarte un chequeo deportol\u00f3gico si nunca has hecho ning\u00fan tipo de actividad f\u00edsica.<\/li>\n<li>Si es que s\u00ed has practicado disciplinas en la ni\u00f1ez o en la adolescencia, puedes empezar a entrenar, pero hay que hacerlo de menos a m\u00e1s.<\/li>\n<li>Antes del entrenamiento, escoge una hora fresca del d\u00eda y calza zapatos adecuados para correr.
